for Visitors

Worship
Our service at 8:30 is considered to be a “traditional” service. It includes a welcome, announcements, prayer, praise, music, a message, a time of giving and a benediction. An additional new worship service is on hold until the Interem Pastor arrives a new team is formed.

The Offering
Every worship service includes a time of giving gifts to God. The offerings placed in the collection plate support the local church and local, national and international missions. Visitors are welcome but not obligated to contribute.

Communion
Communion (the sharing of the bread and juice symbolizing Jesus’ sacrifice for us) is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. You will be invited to receive the bread and juice in your pew some months, or be invited to the front to take a piece of bread and dip it in the juice (called intinction) other months. All believers are invited to partake of this service, although you are not required to.

What to Wear
You will find that people dress in all styles at FPC, and all is appropriate.
We want people to feel comfortable.
