History

In the 1960’s all the property north of the church to Fifth Street was acquired and plans were made to build the new church. The educational section with offices, classrooms, chapel, fellowship hall, and kitchen facilities was completed and dedicated on October 12, 1969.

The sanctuary portion was completed with the first service on Palm Sunday, 1975, and dedicated on September 7, 1975.

In 1989, the building at 502 Pearl was purchased to meet the expanding needs of the youth, education and mission programs.
